...okay well maybe I'm not really a mad scientist. I don't have beakers with puffs of smoke in the shape of skulls and crossbones, and I'm not turning any emperors into llamas.

I *do* have lots and lots and lots of ideas for creative stuff, and so little time to do it. ^^ I wish my brain would run out of ideas, or just have one big uber idea and leave it at that. *wink* I have tried so many things and I do so many different types of projects/art from chibi to monsters of DOOM, it's hard sometimes to put my finger on any one thing and go vroom vroom with it.

Ahh. It's fun being creative.

It's Friday. ^^

I have been putting off doing anything with my page here other than piddling around. And surfing. And then...no...more surfing. And piddling. And staring.

So, is it bad that I detest almost all of my artwork in my gallery? I either want to remove it or finish it an re-upload it, or...yeah, remove it.

But then again I don't want to *really* remove it I suppose.

Art is expressive. It's like a journal entry on paper. It's like poetry on canvas. It's like music in oil.

SO...I feel like removing or denouncing any of my works here would be like ripping out pages of a diary. They may be really old or unfinished, but they were a part of me at some point.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to upgrade my account to subscriber, so maybe I'll just pop them into an 'Oldies' folder and we'll see where it goes from there. *wink*

I don't really have any spiffy completed masterpieces to share over the past couple years. Really only pencil works, or 'floaties' as my Highschool art teacher used to call them. Still, I'm excited to share them soon.

...if I get off my lazy bum and dig out my scanner, that is.

It has been a loooong time. So long in fact that I had actually stopped sending people to my DevArt account, my artwork all looked so old. ^^ Good times.

I don't know how many of my followers and friends actually still check in on me, but I wanted to send out a heads up to let y'all know that I am going to start revamping my little corner here. That means cleaning out my gallery (if I so choose to do so), adding new works, removing all my old journal entries...etc. Just whatever I feel needs to be changed and updated. It's been a long time and I need to refresh. This place has always been too cool to just leave it sitting. And I miss my friendships, dagnabbit!

This process might take a while, so please be patient (a while meaning months). Our two little ones are almost 4 and 6 now, so things get busy. On top of that, I am easily distrac--SQUIRREL!

It's good to be back, even if only for brief snippets here and there. *wink* Hope to see y'all again soon.

YAY! My b-day is coming up on the 24th!

AND...I feel like such a SHMO for not updating this site for over a YEAR. Wow.

Updates...we ended up having a boy on July 16th, 2005. We now have two of the CUTEST kids in the world. Am I partial to my own kids? Heck yeah!

Anyway, I want to start posting new things. I've even contemplated starting 'fresh' and making a new account, as many things about my style, my likes, and 'me' have changed in the past year.

We'll see.

If I did...I would take all my homies with me.

I am looking for a website and I can't remember what it's called...

It has tubes/patterns you can download...it's called something like 'Pretty Brush'? It has cuts and wings and scars that you can use to do photo manipulation. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about??

Okay, so I'm a moron. Just as I typed this, I remembered that it was indeed called 'Pretty Brush', and upon doing a search, well Heidi-ho! I found it had moved here to DeviantArt! Lol. That's ironic.

Alright. The exciting news. This THURSDAY my husband and I will be finding out what we're having...a boy or a girl! We're soooo excited! We're hoping for a boy....
